We’re Hiring!
The Columbus Public Library is seeking a Custodian to join our team.

Position Details:
Monday–Friday
Approximately 2 hours per day

As a public building with high foot traffic, it is essential that our spaces remain clean, safe, and sanitary for all visitors.
If you are reliable and take pride in maintaining a clean environment, we encourage you to apply.

We're continuing the fun of June Dairy Month over the next few weeks, so keep an eye out for special activities and surprises popping up around the library! 🐄🥛🧀

Starting today, we're offering a Paper Woven Cow craft! Stop by to make one at the library, or pick up a kit to take home and create at your own pace.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating Peter Kaland being named Advocate of the Year by the Columbia County Library Board.
We were fortunate to enjoy a beautiful evening, highlighted by wonderful music from Mark Croft.
A special thank-you to the Friends of the Columbus Public Library for providing delicious pies!
It was a fitting tribute to honor Peter’s more than 30 years of dedicated service to our library and community.

When Miss Helen visited Cade's daycare to share information about the Summer Library Program, he was so excited that he convinced his family to bring him to the library the very next day! Not only did he sign up for the Summer Library Program, but he also got his very own library card.
