HTFD crews were able to get some reps in for search and rescue over the past couple of days. A special thank you to Wellston fire Academy for the great instruction and Madison Township Fire Department for allowing us to use their training house!

This dog walked into station 171 this afternoon. He is currently with animal control. If this is your dog or you know the owner please contact Franklin County Animal Shelter. Please share this if you can so we can get this guy back to his rightful owners.

HTFD crews were on hand at the intermediate school to help facilitate a duck race. There was a little hang up at one point, but that was nothing a little extra boost couldn’t handle! Thanks for letting us be a part of the fun!

Every now and then we get to show our appreciation for the people in the community around us. This is Chief Rosenberger presenting Rusty of Rusty's Towing an award for the years of dedicated service and support of our department. They will drop what they are doing to work on our trucks when needed and always respond quickly when called to our scenes. Thank you for all that you do for our Fire department and for our community.
