Today members from Suburban, Pleasantville and Heath LaSertoma cut plastic grocery bags into loops so they could be strung and rolled into a ball. then we give them to a couple of ladies who crochet them into mats. We then donate them to different organizations that work with the homeless.

Today Pleasantville member Terri Suburban member Lynn along with Heath LaSertoma member Sheila stopped by Stowe Mission and dropped off some books for the library, a few kitchen items and a couple mats that we plarned.
We then stopped by the Ronald McDonald House and dropped off some pop tabs.
Another good LaSertoma Day!!!!

For all of you asking and those who are interested, yes, it's finally time to order Michael's Finer Meats for our spring sale. Orders are due to any member with payment by Saturday, April 25th. If you have never ordered from us, please feel free to ask questions. We have been doing this fundraiser twice a year for about 10 years now. We consistently have customers asking us when the next sale is, as they love this meat. It is turning out to be our best fundraiser, and your support helps us to help others. We appreciate every order we receive, and we do our best to get it delivered to you as quickly as possible.
Payment is accepted via VENMO, Zelle, cash and checks made payable to Suburban LaSertoma.

Today Lynn had the opportunity to help at the Food Pantry in Utica Ohio. I volunteered along with Utica members Sheila, Farrah and Shirley. We packed lots of boxes full of a variety of food items and a few other items. Food Pantries in communities help many families and our LaSertoma members are grateful to be a part of this service. The Utica pantry provides this service once a week for those families needing a little help providing food for their families.

Today, members from Suburban LaSertoma along with members from Pleasantville LaSertoma volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House. They prepped, prepared and served tacos and burritos along with desserts. The residents appreciated all of our efforts. It was an enjoyable evening, and we are thankful we can provide this service to the residents. It can be stressful having a child in the hospital and this is a way we can provide some support to them.

Suburban members Ken, Paula, Cindy, and Lynn along with Heath LaSertoma member Phyllis stuffed candy in crocheted hearts and hung them at Columbus Colony Deaf Community in Westerville Ohio today. A nice surprise for them to start the Valentine Day season.
