Today, we had another successful meal service at the Ronald McDonald House in Columbus, Ohio. Our menu featured three delicious varieties of chili, cornbread, baked potatoes, and an assortment of toppings. Members from Suburban, along with several members from Pleasantville, came together to prepare, cook, and serve the meal. Thank you to everyone who generously shared their time and talents to help make a difference for the families staying at the House.

It's that time of year again. If you want to place an order, we need them by Saturday October 24. We want to thank those of you who have supported us in the past. We are thankful you continue to support us. For those who have never ordered, we ask you give us a try.

This sale helps us to support The Ronald McDonald House, Columbus Colony, school supplies for several schools and little libraries, donations to various summer camps to help children with special needs, and scholarships to students attending post-secondary school, just to name a few.

as you can see, every year we continue to help better our community and support individuals who can use our support. This meat is good quality, and you will be helping us help others.

Orders are due Saturday, October 24 and will be delivered to our members on Wednesday, November 11, 2026.

Suburban members Ken and Lynn searched Little Libraries in Columbus Ohio and decided to choose two locations to supply with books. The first Little Library had no books in it. It is sad to see, so they along with Heath member Phyllis filled it with children and adult books. This location also had a blessing box. We plan to go back to that location with more books plus some food and personal items for the blessing box.

If you have extra books that you are no longer in need of, please let us know so we can arrange to get them.
Thank you Terri for your donation of books.

Today our 2026-2027 Club Officers were installed. We are looking forward to a year of service and helping others. Our focus is "Youth and Education" and we will be granting scholarships to, sending students to summer camps, supporting schools with school supplies and books and helping teachers with their wish lists. We realize the importance of a good education, and we try to help as many as we can. We also leave special treats for the residents at Columbus Colony Deaf Community. These are a few of the things we do every year and of course we are always looking for more hands to expand our service. The more hands, the more we can do. Every member we have balances the work, family, faith and service. We are blessed to have each and every member. If you are looking to enrich your life, and have a little spare time, let us know.

It's that time of year again when we start collecting school supplies. We will donate all supplies that we collect to schools and organizations that work with students. There are many teachers that spend their own money buying supplies so their students will have them. The more we collect the more teachers we can support. If you would like to join us in this effort, we would (and the teachers) appreciate you. You can comment below or contact any of our members. We are collecting new and gently used supplies.
