Venture Crew 315 will be set up at Hamilton on the Square, Saturday, August 14th with crafts and literature about the crew. BSA Venturing Crew 315 is a co-ed program open to youth 14-20. If you are interested in service and adventure, come by and check out our booth.

Anyone who would like to help LilaMae Daughtrey with her Eagle Scout Service Project we will meet at Timeless Antiques in Valley, Al., on Wednesday, July 14th at 1pm. We will be packing food boxes in the back of the store and delivering them to the residents at Sylvia Word Manor.

Great day at West Point Lake . We celebrated a Crew member crossing over from youth to an adult leader with a cookout and some kayaking. Nice shallow cove to teach new kayakers some kayaking techniques and go over safety and regulations concerning kayaking in Alabama and Georgia. Left our picnic site better than we found it. LEAVE NO TRACE. Thanks to my neighbor Brandon Cook for loaning us a few kayaks so all of my crew could get on the water.

Christmas Stocking stuffing for the elderly in the Chambers County. We will be preparing 350 stockings in the warehouse at Timeless.
Stockings will be delivered on Dec 22nd. We will post delivery times as soon as they are available. Great opportunity to earn service hours both days.
Please wear a mask for this service opportunity.

We are hiking at FDR State Park Sunday, November 15th. We are meeting at the parking lot across from the Callaway Country Store at 1:45pm EST. We will be hiking 5 miles. Please send Mrs. Gayle a message if you are planning to hike.

Unfortunately we are going to have to cancel our meeting on Nov. 1st at the lake. The Daughtreys are all quarantined because Alfred has tested positive for COVID. Please pray for his healing and that the rest of us do not develop any symptoms. We will celebrate Austin's crossing over at a later date. Look for updates on our Nov. 15th meeting.
