FROM FELON TO ENTREPRENEUR 🙌🏽

God will take the doors that were closed in your face and give you the strength, wisdom, and opportunity to open doors of your own.

Your past does not determine your purpose. A second chance can become a new beginning, a business, and a legacy.

For a new participant, I’d make it encouraging and focused on progress:

“Beginning the process is the first step toward new opportunities, greater stability, and a successful future.”

I love what I do! ❤️

Today we built resumes, completed job applications, and conducted mock interviews to help prepare our participants for their next opportunity.

Seeing their confidence grow and watching them move closer to employment is incredibly rewarding. Sometimes I think I get just as much—if not more—out of these moments than they do.

This is why we do the work: building confidence, creating opportunities, and helping people move forward one step at a time. chance

A Paroled2pride Alumni Story of Faith & Second Chances

Pauline, a proud alumna of Paroled2pride, faithfully worked with our organization for 15 years. Because of a felony conviction that remained on her background for more than 20 years, finding employment opportunities outside our organization was difficult.

We are thankful that God allowed Paroled2pride to be a blessing in her journey—giving her an opportunity to work, serve, grow, and demonstrate that a person’s past does not have to determine their future.

Pauline’s faithfulness reminds us why reentry and second chances matter. We give God all the glory for allowing us to be part of her journey.
