National POW/MIA Recognition Day

National POW/MIA Recognition Day “You Are Not Forgotten” Is not a slogan – it’s a mission. Other than American Flag, the POW/MIA Flag is the only flag ever to fly over the White House.

National POW/MIA Recognition Day is not a federal public holiday in the United States, but it is a national observance and is observed across the nation on the third Friday of September each year. The POW/MIA flag symbolizes the United States’ resolve to never forget POWs or those who served their country in conflicts and are still missing.

DPAA Thank You for all that you do to bring them home!!! You are Not Forgotten. It's Not a Slogan. It's a Mission !!!
