Harris County Soccer Association Registration is open! ❤️⚽️ We are incredibly excited to share some BIG news for the soccer community here in the Chattahoochee Valley!

After several years of discussions, planning, and working together toward a common goal, our local soccer organizations are coming together to enhance the soccer experience for our families and players. One of our biggest priorities has always been finding ways to continue growing the game while reducing excessive travel and minimizing game cancellations. Today, we are proud to announce a major step forward in making that vision a reality.

Columbus Youth Soccer Club and Harris County Soccer have joined together to form a new Recreational Alliance!

This partnership will create exciting opportunities for our players by allowing teams to compete locally — typically within an hour of home — while still providing strong, competitive matches throughout the season. Our goal is simple: create a better overall soccer experience for players, coaches, and families alike.

We are thrilled to announce that this alliance will begin with the following divisions:

U14 Girls

U16 Girls

U16 Coed

Teams participating in the alliance will compete in both a regular season schedule and an exciting postseason competition.

This is a tremendous step forward for soccer in our area, and we truly believe it is only the beginning. By working together, we can continue to grow the game, strengthen our soccer community, and provide more opportunities for our players to develop and enjoy the sport they love.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to youth soccer. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for the Chattahoochee Valley soccer community!

Amazing meeting with several neighboring organizations as we continue building the new Chattahoochee Valley Soccer League! ⚽️

This alliance brings together local clubs and communities for interleague play, helping create more opportunities for girls teams and older age groups while keeping competition local and community-focused.

We are excited about the future and everything we have in store — more development, more games, more friendships, and more opportunities for players across the Chattahoochee Valley.

You may have seen our other post about the new Recreational Alliance between CYSC and Harris County Soccer. Here’s a little more info about this unique opportunity and why it’s a move in the right direction.
The U14 and U16 girls teams will play 7v7 instead of the traditional format. This is an intentional move with a clear goal - player development. 7 v 7 offers an opportunity for more touches when they matter, a smaller field of play which forces players to focus on ball control, and increased competition without exorbitant travel.
