Today is Wrongful Conviction Day.
How many truly innocent people are still behind bars fighting cases?

Many may look at this topic and turn their heads believing that this has nothing to do with them.

But it has everything to do with all of us. We live in a country where we are promised a due legal process, where it is literally stitched into the fabric of this country that someone is supposed to be presumed innocent until they are PROVEN guilty.

This is a subject that we all should care about. Get involved with movements like the Innocent Project, who have successfully help free 250+ innocent people.

until they are PROVEN guilty.

This is a subject that we all should care about.Because it will affect all of us and if it hasn't yet....it may pretty soon.
Get involved with movements like the Innocent Project.

Juneteenth commemorates the day in 1865 when the last enslaved Americans in Galveston, Texas, finally learned of their freedom. https://nbc4i.co/3S8MM7Y?utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook_NBC4
