Women's Work, FCF

Directions

Women's Work, FCF Women's Work is a collective designed to awaken the fire of Love and Light, while promoting spiritual growth and the development of African American women.

Women’s Work As A Ministry was founded by Frances Curtis Frazier, M.A. Her vision was to create a collective that could serve as a repository of gifts and talents to be shared and used for the transformation of Black women. Women’s Work As A Ministry is a shining example of UJIMA: collective work and responsibility. WWAM is an organization that ministers to and promotes the spiritual growth and development of African American women. Women’s Work As A Ministry believes that problems impacting Black women and the Black community should be addressed by Black women; Using an effective network to share information and resources is considered to be the most viable vehicle for meeting this challenge. WWAM realizes that women are the key to effecting positive change in our communities. We believe that the collective work of women will create a more lasting and substantive change in our families and communities. Believing in the collective power of women, Fran is always working on projects of sisterhood and community building among women and girls.
