Central Ohio Club, Nanbpwc, Inc. was honored to attend the NCD Joint Area Meeting this past weekend in Grand Rapids, Michigan, alongside club sisters from throughout our district.

We came together to be about the business of our association, founded in 1935 to promote and protect the interest of African American business and professional women.❤️💛

This year’s theme, “Unity in Action: Building Stronger Leaders and Stronger Clubs,” speaks directly to the important work before us. The work we are doing is critical to strengthening our organization, developing leaders, and ensuring a vibrant future for BPW🎯.

A special thank you to Madam Governor Bisbee and the North Central District - Nanbpwc, Inc. Leadership Team for their foresight, vision, and focus on the future of BPW.

Together, we continue to honor our legacy while building for tomorrow.🌇💫

In Community. Together. 💙✨

We are halfway there! Help us get our girls to New York! Donate to our Send A Fellow to the United Nations fundraiser. Help send seven young women to New York for Girls Speak Out at United Nations Headquarters. Donate here by October 8th: https://nanbpwc.networkforgood.com/projects/305841-emerging-women-leaders-send-our-young-leaders-to-the-un

Seven young women. One weekend. One extraordinary opportunity.

On October 9, seven of our Emerging Women Leaders will walk into a room at the United Nations that most girls never see.

They are 16, 17, and 18 years old. This summer, they spent five weeks in the Emerging Women Leaders Global Fellowship—developing leadership projects, presenting to accomplished women, and learning to speak with confidence and conviction.

Then came the invitation.

The Working Group on Girls selected our fellows to attend Girls Speak Out, the event marking International Day of the Girl at United Nations Headquarters. They will join girl advocates from around the world and hear from women who have helped shape policy, communities, and institutions. One of our fellows has even been nominated to take the stage herself.

They earned this opportunity. Now we need to get them there.

The cost is approximately $1,500 per fellow for airfare, three nights of lodging, meals, and the essentials for the weekend.

Your gift makes a direct difference:

💛 $50 — feeds one fellow for a day
💛 $150 — provides a hotel night
💛 $500 — helps get her on the plane
💛 $1,500 — sends one fellow for the entire weekend

Every dollar raised goes toward this trip—not overhead, not a general fund, but directly toward getting these seven young women to New York.

For more than 90 years, the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. has worked to ensure Black women have a place in the rooms where decisions are made.

Now, we’re helping the next generation walk through those doors.

And they’re bringing you with them.

The fellows will document their experience through photos, video, and their own words, sharing what it means to stand in that room and see what is possible.

October 8th is the last day to give. They fly October 9th.

Seven young women are ready.

Will you help send a fellow?
