Janis Center Railroad Club HO model railroad club located in the Martin Janis Senior Center. Welcome to the Janis Center Model Railroad Club. You never know what you might see.

We were started in the 1980’s by a group of seniors who wanted to build a model railroad layout here at the Martin Janis Center. We host a wide variety of scenes on our 15 scale mile fully landscaped layout. We offer an exciting and interesting view of what railroading was like from the early 1950′s, the time of transition from steam to diesel, into the 1960’s. We also have members who occasionall

y present more modern equipment. So climb aboard and enjoy the ride! We currently have several members of all ages, as well as three lady members. So don’t think the world of model railroading isn’t for you. Look around, feel free to take all the photos you want and ask any questions you have.
