Whether you have a signature chili recipe that’s been a hit for years, or you’re experimenting with new flavors, bring your best pot of chili and show us what you’ve got! This is a fantastic chance to share your culinary creations, mingle with fellow aviation enthusiasts, and raise a little money to support our chapter.

How it works:
Come hungry and vote for your favorite chili by placing a donation in the cup next to the pot. The chili with the most donations wins the coveted title of Best Chili in Town—and, of course, bragging rights!

❄️ Snowstorm Update ❄️

Airport crews and equipment are fully prepared for the upcoming snowstorm. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Louisville is still finalizing totals, but early reports suggest a significant amount of snow with a possible mix of ice.

As of now, we anticipate operations at the airport will be impacted Sunday and Monday.
➡️ Our primary snow-clearing efforts are planned for midday to late Monday, as we do not use pretreatment methods.
➡️ Please monitor NOTAMs for updates on airport status.
➡️ We kindly ask that airport users limit travel to the airport during this time for safety reasons.

We’ll keep you updated on our progress, but please note that all staff will be focused on snow removal, so responses to calls may be delayed.

Congrats, Noah!!!

Our 2023 Ray Scholar, Noah Shatto is our newest chapter pilot. Here he is with CFI Roy Farris, and DPE Ethan Malavolti. Noah is the model of perseverance, working through numerous plane mechanical issues, weather, and at least 7 Checkride reschedules. But then again, that’s the young man we’ve come to know him to be. On a side note, he is also our chapters newest and youngest Board of Directors member.
