Global Teen Challenge

Global Teen Challenge For over 65 years, Global Teen Challenge’s mission has been to put "hope within reach" for teens & adults battling addiction - until all live free!

3.3 million people die from their addiction each year. Global Teen Challenge is on a mission mobilizing people and resources to put hope within reach of those 3.3 million people. With the help of many generous individuals, we have launched over 1,400 Teen Challenge centers in 125 nations of the world. Serving on average 20 people per-center.

It is an honor to serve as a Resource Partner and Momentum Partner with ARC. We are continually inspired by ARC’s commitment to planting life-giving churches and equipping leaders to reach their communities with the hope of Jesus Christ.

This week, we’re in downtown Minneapolis at River Valley Church’s City Campus for the ARC Church Planting Training. There is nothing more exciting than seeing new church planters step out in faith to build strong local churches that will impact generations to come.

If you’re attending, be sure to stop by the Global Teen Challenge booth! Enter your name for a chance to win a free t-shirt, hat, or sweatshirt, and learn how your church can help bring hope and freedom to people struggling with addiction and other life-controlling issues around the world.

Church planters, we love you. We believe in you. And we’re grateful for the sacrifice, vision, and faith it takes to answer God’s call.

Together, we’re reaching communities, changing lives, and helping put hope within reach.

More than 500 million people around the world are trapped in addiction and life-controlling struggles. If that number were a nation, it would be the third largest country on earth.

The need is too great for any one ministry to meet alone.

That is why we are so grateful for the pastors, churches, ministry leaders, mission teams, and partners who have come alongside Global Teen Challenge. Together, we are helping put hope within reach for people who feel forgotten.

For more than 65 years, Teen Challenge ministries have shared the hope of Jesus Christ with those battling addiction, despair, trafficking, poverty, and other life-controlling challenges. Today, through partnerships in more than 140 countries, we are seeing lives, families, and communities transformed.

Thank you to every church that prays, gives, sends teams, and stands with us in this mission.

Together, we are bringing hope. Together, we are seeing freedom.

Until All Live Free.

“One of the greatest needs in the world today is for the Church to step into places where people are hurting and bring the hope of Jesus.”

Dr. Rich Wilkerson recently shared a powerful challenge to the Church, highlighting the incredible work being done through Global Teen Challenge around the world.

Today, Global Teen Challenge is bringing hope within reach in more than 140 nations, reaching men and women trapped in addiction and life-controlling struggles, discipling them in Christ, and seeing lives, families, and communities transformed.

Through On The Way Global Missions, the sending arm of Global Teen Challenge, you have the opportunity to be part of that mission.

Join a mission trip and serve alongside Teen Challenge ministries across Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean, and beyond. Encourage leaders, share the Gospel, invest in discipleship, and witness firsthand what God is doing through local ministries around the world.

The need is great. The opportunity is real. The invitation is open.

Mission trips for 2026 are now accepting applications.

Go. Serve. Disciple.

Join Global Teen Challenge and be part of bringing hope within reach until all live free.

More than 500 million people around the world are trapped in addiction and life-controlling struggles. If that number were a nation, it would be the third largest country on earth behind only India and China.

This is not just a statistic. These are sons and daughters. Fathers and mothers. Teenagers. Families. Entire communities searching for hope.

At Global Teen Challenge, we believe the Church was never called to stand on the sidelines while people suffer in darkness. Jesus entrusted His Church with a mission to bring freedom to the brokenhearted, hope to the hopeless, and light into places overcome by addiction, despair, trafficking, poverty, violence, and pain.

For more than 65 years, Teen Challenge ministries around the world have been stepping into some of the hardest places on earth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the power of transformed lives.

But the need is too great for one ministry alone.

The Church must rise together.

This generation does not need more empty words. It needs communities filled with compassion, discipleship, truth, and the power of the Holy Spirit. It needs churches willing to go into prisons, streets, villages, schools, neighborhoods, and nations carrying the message that freedom is possible through Christ.

Global Teen Challenge exists to help mobilize the Church into that mission.

Through partnerships, missions teams, leadership development, prevention, outreach, discipleship, and recovery programs in more than 140 countries, we are working together to put hope within reach for those who feel forgotten.

Until All Live Free.

Honored to see the support of Grenada’s Prime Minister the Honorable Dickon Mitchell for Adult & Teen Challenge Grenada. His voice and encouragement continue to help shine a light on the importance of bringing hope, recovery, and restoration to those battling addiction across the island.

Watch this short clip of him on local television sharing his support for the ministry and the impact being made in Grenada.

Please continue praying for Executive Director Jude Hector and the entire Adult & Teen Challenge Grenada team as they faithfully put hope within reach throughout the nation. Lives are being transformed, families are being restored, and the Gospel is changing communities one person at a time.

A word of encouragement from the Executive Director and National Director of Teen Challenge Cameroon, Professor Benjamin Mpake, from Isaiah 45.

God sees every act of faithfulness. Every prayer prayed in secret. Every life poured out in service. Every sacrifice made to reach those who are broken and bound.

Isaiah 45 reminds us that there are treasures hidden in darkness and riches stored in secret places for those who continue to walk faithfully with Him. Even in difficult seasons, God is working behind the scenes preparing blessings, provision, opportunities, and breakthroughs that we cannot yet see.

To every leader, staff member, missionary, volunteer, and student serving faithfully around the world through Teen Challenge, do not grow weary. The hidden treasures of God are not lost. They are being prepared for those who continue to trust Him and obey His calling.

“I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the Lord.” Isaiah 45:3

We may be a little partial, but we truly believe we have one of the greatest ministry families in the world.

A global family made up of men and women from different nations, different cultures, and different languages all united by one mission: seeing lives transformed by the power of Jesus Christ.

Together, we walk alongside those who are bound by addiction, hopelessness, and brokenness believing freedom is possible. We’ve seen chains broken. We’ve seen hope restored. We’ve seen people encounter Jesus and discover a new life.

It’s an honor to serve alongside leaders, staff, students, missionaries, pastors, and volunteers across the world who have dedicated their lives to putting hope within reach until all live free.

More than an organization, we are family.
And we are grateful for every person carrying this mission forward around the globe.

“Go means go. Visit means visit. Preach means preach.”

So thankful for leaders like Micah Hale who carry a heart for the Gospel and for seeing people step into their calling.

Micah grew up in a Christian home, but after a debilitating injury in college, he became addicted to prescription painkillers. Through Teen Challenge Southern California, God completely transformed his life. After completing the program, an apprenticeship, graduating from Teen Challenge Ministry Institute, and earning his degree from Vanguard University, he now serves as the Director of TCMI.

We had the privilege of sitting down with Micah to talk about missions, discipleship, and why it’s so important for believers to get involved in the Great Commission.

Missions changes people. It stretches your faith, opens your eyes to what God is doing around the world, and reminds us that the Gospel is still transforming lives everywhere.

So thankful for Micah, TCMI, and leaders who continue raising up the next generation to go wherever God calls.
