Global Teen Challenge For over 65 years, Global Teen Challenge’s mission has been to put "hope within reach" for teens & adults battling addiction - until all live free!

3.3 million people die from their addiction each year. Global Teen Challenge is on a mission mobilizing people and resources to put hope within reach of those 3.3 million people. With the help of many generous individuals, we have launched over 1,400 Teen Challenge centers in 125 nations of the world. Serving on average 20 people per-center.

Visoth’s life began on the streets of Cambodia, where survival was all he knew.

His father begged for money. His mother collected recyclables from the trash. By the age of 9, Visoth had already turned to glue, ci******es, and alcohol to escape the pain and hopelessness surrounding him.

At 25 years old, he has lived through more hardship than many experience in a lifetime.

Everything changed when a teacher noticed the pain in his eyes and introduced him to Teen Challenge. For the first time, Visoth encountered something completely unfamiliar: love.

At Teen Challenge, he discovered the love of Jesus Christ. What began as a place of refuge became a place of healing, restoration, and purpose. Over the next nine years, mentors, teachers, and staff walked alongside him, helping him grow emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

Today, Visoth serves as a teacher at Teen Challenge.

The boy who once searched for hope in the streets now helps others find hope in Christ. The love that once felt so foreign to him is now the same love he shares with students every day.

His story is a powerful reminder that no one is beyond the reach of God’s grace. Through the life-changing ministry of Teen Challenge, Visoth found freedom, purpose, and a future.

His name means “holy.”

Today, through Christ, that name has become his testimony.

What if missions wasn’t just about where you go, but what you bring?

This week in Wales, two women brought their God-given gifts to serve the Kingdom through an On The Way trip with Global Teen Challenge.

Amanda, a licensed counselor and therapist who has spent years walking alongside trauma survivors, and Danielle, a gifted photographer and storyteller who has dedicated much of her career to serving nonprofits, spent the day at Hope House, Teen Challenge UK’s women’s center.

One listened to stories of pain, healing, and restoration through the lens of a counselor. The other captured stories of hope and transformation through the lens of a camera.

Neither came to lead a program. Neither came to stand on a stage. They came to serve.

That’s the beauty of missions. The Kingdom needs teachers, counselors, photographers, writers, business leaders, pastors, medical professionals, tradespeople, and students. God uses ordinary skills surrendered to Him to strengthen ministries and encourage those on the front lines.

Today at Hope House, conversations were shared, stories were preserved, and women were reminded that they are seen, valued, and loved by God.

Your profession, your experience, and your gifts can become part of God’s mission in the world.

This is On The Way.

What an incredible week of worship, encouragement, and being reminded of the mission God has placed before His Church. We’re so thankful for the VOUS community and for the opportunity to be part of this week alongside thousands of people who are passionate about seeing lives transformed through Jesus.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Global Teen Challenge booth, shared a story, prayed with us, or took time to learn about the work happening around the world. We leave encouraged, inspired, and more committed than ever to bringing hope within reach and seeing people find freedom in Christ.

Congratulations to all of our Global Teen Challenge merch giveaway winners at VOUSCON 2026!

This year’s theme was Born to Live, and that’s a message we can get behind. We believe every person was created with purpose, born to experience the freedom, hope, and new life found in Jesus Christ. That’s why Global Teen Challenge exists—to help bring that freedom within reach for people facing addiction and other life-controlling struggles around the world.

So congratulations to our winners! We hope you enjoy your new Global Teen Challenge gear and wear it proudly. After all, you were Born to Live, and we’re believing for the day when Until All Live Free becomes a reality. Thank you, VOUSCON, for an incredible week. One of the greatest reminders this week is that the Church is at its best when it lives on mission. Thousands of people, hundreds of churches, and countless opportunities to share the hope of Jesus with a world that desperately needs Him.

Day 2 of VOUSCON has been incredible.

We are reminded again and again of what God can do when His people come together. It’s been such an encouragement to meet pastors, leaders, students, and church teams from around the world who are passionate about seeing lives transformed by Jesus.

We’re grateful for every conversation at the Global Teen Challenge booth and every opportunity to share stories of hope, freedom, and redemption. Thank you, VOUSCON, for creating a space that inspires people to live on mission and make a difference in the world.

Opening night at VOUSCON was incredible.

Thousands of people gathered with one purpose—to worship Jesus, be challenged in their faith, and be reminded that we were all Born to Live. The energy in the room was powerful, but even more inspiring was seeing believers from more than 1,000 churches united around the mission of reaching people with the hope of Christ.

As we worshiped tonight, we couldn’t help but think about the millions around the world still searching for hope, freedom, and purpose. That’s why we’re here. Global Teen Challenge is honored to be part of VOUSCON, sharing stories of life transformation and inviting others to join us in bringing hope within reach.

The Church is alive. The Gospel is still changing lives. And the mission is far from finished.
