The Ohio State University Young Scholars Program is excited to announce an opportunity to join our team as a Program Coordinator serving the Youngstown City School District.

For more than 35 years, the Young Scholars Program has helped talented students prepare for and succeed in higher education. We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting students and strengthening pathways to college.

The position is based in Youngstown, Ohio and works directly with the Youngstown City School District and families.

Join our Team:
The Ohio State University - Young Scholars Program improves pre-college preparation, retention, and degree completion among high-ability academically gifted first-generation students with financial need from nine of the largest urban school districts in Ohio: Akron Public, Canton City, Cincinnati Public, Cleveland Metropolitan, Columbus City, Dayton Public, Lorain City, Toledo Public, and Youngstown City. YSP supports scholars in 8th grade through completing a bachelor's degree. We aim to recruit, prepare, and support scholars to successfully gain admission to and graduate from The Ohio State University.

The Program Coordinator – Canton is a full-time, in-person position LOCATED IN CANTON, OHIO. The successful candidate must reside or be willing to relocate to or live within a daily commuting distance of Canton, OH.
