Legacy in Action: Cultivating Community, Empowering Votes. 🔗💚✨

What does multi-generational leadership look like? It looks like the Columbus (GA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated showing up to the polls in full force! 🗳️

From June 8–12, our chapter members, brilliant Daughters of Links, seasoned Alumni, and dedicated Connecting Links locked arms to make our voices heard for the Runoff Election. We aren't just talking about building a stronger Columbus—our entire families are voting for it.
The energy at the Columbus Public Library kickoff was incredible, and seeing our legacy line up at the City Services Center proved that civic duty runs deep in our bones.

* Early Voting Window: June 8 – 12, 2026
* Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
* Location: City Services Center (Community Room)

The early voting doors were open late until 7 PM, and we were there executing our civic duty. Let’s protect our community, protect our future, and keep this momentum going all the way through Election Day on June 16th!

Strengthening Our Community, One Vote at a Time. 🗳️✨

The Columbus (GA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated joined forces with members of Divine Nine at the Columbus Public Library for a powerful evening of mobilization and relationship building. Our shared mission remains clear: Civic duty, community building, and empowering our community’s vote. 🔗💚

The event was just the kickoff, now it’s time to take action. The Runoff Election early voting period is officially open, and every single vote counts!

🌟 Empowering the Leaders of Tomorrow! 🌟

The Columbus (GA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated hosted an inspiring session for the Links Youth Leadership Academy, led by Chair Dr. Kia Chambers and Co-Chair Danya Albright. Special thanks to our gracious hosts Carolyn Hugley, Kimberly McCrae, and the International Trends and Services facet for their support.

We were honored to welcome Angela Lawyer, an accredited financial counselor and passionate financial wellness coach. Angela empowered our youth with valuable insights on managing their finances with confidence. This included working through budgets, discussing credit cards, especially during college, and feeling free from shame and confusion to improving their financial acumen.

At the end of the session, LYLA held their business meeting, adhering to Roberts Rule of Order. Jo Ann Taylor, Chair of International Trends and Services facet, presented their facet’s focus on preparing youth for a global workforce. The young ladies dined on a Global Street Food Market, which featured Asian and Afro–Latin fusion cuisines.

🌸 Celebrating a Year of Service & Partnership 🌸

The Columbus (GA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated recently gathered for our final chapter meeting of the program year. To celebrate the season, we embraced "Springtime Affair: Blooms, Bonds, and Beautiful Moments" theme—filling the room with vibrant pinks, yellows, and oranges.

While the colors were bright, the true highlight was reflecting on the impactful work we’ve accomplished together. To our community partners: thank you for walking alongside us this year. Your collaboration is the heartbeat of our service, and we are already looking forward to the innovative ways we will work with you in the upcoming year!

As we transition into our summer planning phase, we carry this spirit of "Springtime" energy with us—ready to grow, build, and serve even more.
