Dear Friends,
It is with a heavy heart that we must announce the postponement of the Columbus International Festival scheduled to take place on September 29th & 30th, 2018 at Franklin Park.
Our Festival Chair, Dr. JS Jindal, has been working tirelessly alongside the planning committee to execute this event. Unfortunately, his daughter suffered a stroke in May. Sadhna, who plays an invaluable role in the planning committee, has been recovering in hospitals and rehab centers since. Dr. Jindal's main focus and commitment have been on his daughter's recuperation. We are very grateful to hear that she is progressing well in her recovery, but she still requires much time and care. As a result, Dr. Jindal's time and effort have been extremely limited and divided.
Despite our very best efforts, at this time we do not have enough booths or entertainers to make this year's Festival the most memorable one yet. If we were to go forward, it would be a poor representation of our vision and our very high standards. We always strive in providing the very best experience to our guests. Regrettably, we are unable to fulfill this commitment at this time. As such, our committee has unanimously agreed that postponing the Festival is in everyone's best interest.
Our committee is extremely optimistic for the upcoming year, however. Preparations for Columbus International Festival 2019, scheduled to take place on September 28th & 29th at Franklin Park, have already been set in motion.
The Columbus International Festival Planning Committee would like to extend our sincerest apologies to our wonderful fans for any inconveniences this postponement may have caused you. We truly appreciate all of your support and interest in the Columbus International Festival, and we hope to see you all in 2019 so we can exceed all of your expectations and bring you an unforgettable experience.
All the best,
Columbus International Festival Planning Committee
