Our Lowndes County 4-H Western Heritage Club had a great meeting this past week as members learned how to use sewing machines while creating their own custom bandanas!

A special thank you to our Family Health and Wellness Agent, Mrs. Vivian Cade, for teaching this hands-on sewing lesson. Members learned sewing machine safety, practiced basic sewing skills, and gained confidence as they completed a bandana that they can wear during future club meetings and events.

Hands-on experiences like these help our 4-H'ers develop valuable life skills while preserving the traditions and craftsmanship that are an important part of the Western Heritage program.

Thank you, Mrs. Vivian, for sharing your time and expertise with our youth!
