The Northland Community Fourth of July Parade is back for America's 250th Birthday!
The parade - started in 1962 - is the only traditional parade on July 4th in the City of Columbus.
It returns to Karl Rd. on Saturday, July 4, 2026, as it marches through Forest Park.
The parade starts at 10 a.m. at Karl Rd. and Morse Rd. and travels north to Dublin-Granville Rd. through Forest Park East and West. This year's theme is "250th Anniversary of America". This parade is organized by the Northland Community Council (FPCA is a member of the NCC). It is a completely volunteer effort which requires hundreds of hours of dedicated work.
Residents and non-profit groups can enter the parade at no cost. Businesses can enter for $150 and politicians can enter for $300. See the link below to register your float or group. The more the merrier!

HELP WITH OUR FPCA FLOAT!
We are looking for people to help dream up a float ideas, help create it, and to march in the parade with us. Contact Mary or Rita at [email protected] if you can help.
KIDS CAN JOIN WITH THEIR BIKES & TRIKES!
The FPCA Bikes & Trikes tradition continues in this year's parade. Kids can decorate their bikes, trikes, wagons or scooters and join the parade when our FPCA float passes Woodward Park Middle School. Your child can stay in the parade all the way to the shopping center at Dublin-Granville Rd. or you can extract them anytime along the Karl Rd. route if their legs get tired.
Our judges will select several winners based on decorations representing the theme of "250th Anniversary of America" and another for "Originality".
Children and parents/guardians should meet in the Woodward Park Middle School at 9:15 a.m.
Parents or guardians must register participants and sign a waiver the morning of the parade. Kids five and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or older sibling in the parade. We ask all children to wear a helmet if riding a bicycle.
We are looking for a few volunteers to help wrangle the kids and to judge the decorations. Contact Mary or Rita at [email protected] if you can help.
