Nothing beats a day on the water! 🎣☀️

At REACH, some of our favorite memories are made outdoors—casting a line, sharing laughs, celebrating catches, and enjoying time with friends. Fishing isn't just about what we catch; it's about building confidence, creating connections, and making memories that last a lifetime.

This trip had plenty of excitement, great catches, and even a hungry fishermen. We thought Caleb was going to grab a bite at the fishing hole! (of course he was joking - he is a comedian!) 😂🐟

These moments remind us that everyone deserves opportunities to explore new experiences, enjoy nature, and have fun together.

💪😊 Getting active and having fun at REACH Columbus!

Our exercise room is a great place to stay moving, try something new, and spend time with friends. Whether it's walking, stretching, or using the fitness equipment, everyone enjoys finding ways to stay active and have fun together.

We love seeing our participants challenge themselves, encourage one another, and celebrate their accomplishments—big and small. It's just one more way we're building healthy habits and making great memories!

☀️🌳 There’s nothing better than enjoying a beautiful day outdoors with friends!

Our participants at REACH Columbus East have been making the most of our outdoor space—soaking up the sunshine, enjoying fresh air, and spending time together in a welcoming environment designed for connection and fun.

The excitement is growing because our friends from REACH Columbus West are joining us to enjoy the space, too! We love creating opportunities for friendships to grow across our programs and bringing people together to share experiences, laughter, and community.

At REACH, it's not just about the activities—it’s about building relationships, creating memories, and making everyone feel included and valued. 💙

⚾☀️ What a day at the ballpark!

Our REACH Columbus group had an amazing time cheering on the Indianapolis Indians during a special outing to Victory Field. While the summer heat was definitely turned up, so were the smiles, laughter, and excitement!

From enjoying the game and ballpark atmosphere to spending quality time with friends, it was a day filled with fun, connection, and great memories. Experiences like these help create opportunities for community engagement, friendship, and unforgettable moments for the individuals we support.❤️⚾

At REACH Columbus, it might look like we're just having fun—and we definitely are! 💙

But behind every outing, activity, game, project, and community adventure, there's so much more happening.

We're building life skills, practicing communication, strengthening friendships, increasing independence, developing problem-solving skills, making healthy choices, learning to navigate our community, and gaining confidence every step of the way.

Whether we're shopping, cooking, volunteering, exercising, exploring local businesses, enjoying recreational activities, or simply spending time together, learning is woven into everything we do.

Getting out into the community isn't just something we do—it's part of who we are. We believe everyone deserves opportunities to learn, grow, contribute, and experience all that our community has to offer.

The smiles, laughter, and fun are just the bonus. 😊

Adventure was in the air during our trip to Bass Pro Shop! 🎣🦌🐟

From exploring the huge aquariums and checking out the wildlife displays to browsing all the outdoor gear, there was something interesting around every corner. Outings like these are a great opportunity to explore, discover new interests, and spend time with friends.

We had a reel-y great time! 😄

Donut worry, we had a sweet time celebrating National Donut Day! 🍩💙

Our participants enjoyed donut holes, smiles, and a little extra sweetness together. Sometimes the simplest treats make the best moments!

Our outdoor space at REACH Columbus East is really starting to come to life! 🌻🌱💙

With beautiful new swings, colorful flowers blooming, and raised garden beds filled with vegetable plants, this space is becoming a place where participants can relax, connect, learn, and enjoy the outdoors.

We're also excited to see new sheds being built to house all of our outdoor games, activities, and equipment—helping keep everything organized and ready for fun!

And we're not done yet! 🎨 Coming soon, murals will be added to the inside of the fence, bringing even more color, creativity, and personality to the space.

It's amazing to see this outdoor area transform into a welcoming place for recreation, learning, friendships, and fresh air.

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped make it possible! Special thanks to Wendell Fields for the swings and Braeden Farrell for the raised garden beds and the Carl Marshall Reeves & Mildred Almen Reeves Foundation, whose support helped make this transformation possible.

REACH Columbus is partnering with the Tim Tuell Benefit to collect peanut butter and jelly for Love Chapel.

These pantry staples help provide meals for individuals and families in our community who need a helping hand.

You can drop off jars of peanut butter and jelly in the lobby of our East & West locations now through June 30.

The Disability Town Hall is happening tonight from 5–8 PM at The Commons in Columbus, and there's still time to join the conversation!

This free community event brings together people with disabilities, self-advocates, caregivers, families, community organizations, and local leaders to discuss issues that matter and share ideas for building a more inclusive community.

✨ Connect with local resources and vendors
✨ Participate in meaningful discussions
✨ Learn more about topics impacting the disability community, including the Medicaid Waiver Reset
✨ Make your voice heard

ASL Interpreters and CART services will be available.
