Day 2 in Louisiana was packed with amazing experiences! We had the privilege of connecting with CGB corporate employees and touring their impressive grain export facility on the Mississippi River. After that, we headed to Baton Rouge to meet with the Dean and faculty of the College of Agriculture, followed by a tour of LSU. We are grateful for the insights and connections made along the way!

We are kicking off our Louisiana agriculture trip with an exciting first day! We started at the Louisiana Sugar Refinery, diving into sugar processing operations, then headed to Cargill’s Mississippi River reserve, where we saw firsthand how grain is loaded and shipped to customers around the world. The day wrapped up with a great networking reception hosted by CGB. We’re thrilled to continue exploring the diverse and dynamic agricultural industries in Louisiana!
