NEPAL NEEDS OUR PRAYERS — AND OUR HELP.

In the wake of devastating flooding and disaster, families across Nepal are facing tremendous loss. Homes and communities have been impacted, lives have been changed, and many are walking through incredible uncertainty.

In the middle of the devastation, Teen Challenge Nepal is on the frontlines, serving as the hands and feet of Jesus.

Our team in Nepal is coming alongside families, meeting practical needs, serving affected communities, and carrying the hope of Christ into places experiencing tremendous loss.

This is what missions looks like.

WALK FOR FREEDOM IS HERE!

This September, you can do more than talk about freedom—you can walk for it.

Across the country, individuals, families, churches, and communities are coming together for Walk for Freedom, raising awareness and helping put hope within reach of men and women seeking freedom from addiction.

You don’t need a huge event. You just need a willing heart and a few people ready to stand with you.

Gather 5–10 friends. Choose a day. Pick a visible place in your community. Carry messages of hope. Share why this mission matters. Invite others to join you—and, if you choose, raise funds to directly support life-changing Teen Challenge programs.

Women helping women. Hope reaching the next generation.

Around the world, Teen Challenge ministries are serving women and children who are finding hope, freedom, healing, and a new future in Jesus. And we are incredibly thankful for the women who have chosen to stand alongside these ministries—praying, giving, going, and helping put hope within reach.

There is something powerful about women coming alongside women across cultures and across borders for the sake of the Gospel.

Venture Church is currently on the ground in Puerto Rico!

Pastor Johnny, along with a team of students and leaders from Washington State, is spending one of the final weeks of summer serving alongside Teen Challenge Puerto Rico before the school year begins.

Throughout the week, the team is helping with various work projects, spending time in worship and prayer with Teen Challenge students and staff, and hosting Vacation Bible Schools with local churches and communities as a way to reach children and families with the hope of Jesus.

This is what On The Way is all about.

As the sending arm of Global Teen Challenge, On The Way exists to connect churches, teams, students, and individuals with Teen Challenge ministries around the world—creating opportunities to serve, build relationships, strengthen local ministries, and be part of what God is doing among the nations.

Short-term missions isn’t just about going somewhere. It’s about coming alongside those who are already faithfully serving, learning from them, encouraging them, and joining them in making the name of Jesus known.

On The Way | The Sending Arm of Global Teen Challenge

He was 18 and believed death was his only option. Today, he helps others choose life.
Matei grew up in a loving family in Bucharest, but by his teens, drugs had taken over. What started with ma*****na quickly progressed to M**A, amphetamines, ketamine, and he**in. He dropped out of school, lived in abandoned buildings, and did whatever it took to support his addiction.
Then his father told him about a Teen Challenge support group.
At the Grădiștea men’s center, Matei encountered something he had been searching for all his life: hope. When he heard about Jesus and what He could do in his life, he surrendered everything to Him—and his life began to change.
He finished high school, pursued his passion for film, was baptized, shared his story with thousands of teenagers, and saw his relationship with his parents restored.
Today, Matei serves with TC Smart’s prevention team and as a staff member at the men’s center.
What once seemed like the end of his story became the beginning of a new one. Jesus gave him a reason to live—and now he’s helping others find hope too.

God is still calling. And God is still sending.

Charles and Kimberly Krick know firsthand the transformational power of Jesus. Both are Teen Challenge graduates whose lives have been changed by Christ, and today they serve on staff at a Teen Challenge center, helping others discover that same hope and freedom.

But God’s work in their lives didn’t stop when they completed the program.

This summer, the Krick family followed God’s call overseas, spending two weeks serving alongside our Teen Challenge family across Romania. Together as a family, they traveled to multiple Teen Challenge locations, shared their testimonies, preached, encouraged students and staff, and spent time with leaders who are faithfully carrying the hope of Jesus into their communities.

Their story is a beautiful picture of what Teen Challenge is all about.

We don’t simply want to see people walk out of addiction. We want to see lives completely transformed by Jesus—and then watch as God sends those transformed lives back into the world.

Into their families.
Into the marketplace.
Into local churches.
Into full-time ministry.
And even to the nations.

Across our Teen Challenge family, there are graduates and alumni whom God is calling to GO. Some will serve across the street. Others will serve across the world. But every one of them carries a testimony of what Jesus can do with a surrendered life.

We are grateful for Charles, Kimberly, and their family for saying yes to Romania—and we are praying for the many others God is still calling.

The harvest is plentiful. The call is still going out.

This past week, Dr. Jose Martinez, our COO, spent time in Thailand as we continue to see exciting new doors opening around the world.

Teen Challenge ministries are being planted in new places, and countries are actively asking for help and hope to be brought to their communities.
