On this last day of school, we want to take a moment to thank Jim Connor, Superintendent of Columbus ISD, for his dedication, leadership, and support in helping make the Columbus Education Foundation such a success. We wish him all the best in his retirement and are grateful for the impact he has made on our schools and community.

At the same time, we are excited to welcome Dr. Chris Carpenter as the new Superintendent of CISD! We enjoyed watching Jim officially โ€œpass the duckโ€ on to Chris and look forward to all thatโ€™s ahead for Columbus ISD and CEF. โค๏ธ

A huge THANK YOU to all of our sponsors, participants, volunteers, and community supporters who helped make this yearโ€™s Duck Derby such a success. From purchasing ducks, helping behind the scenes, setting up, serving food, cheering on the race, and everything in between โ€” this event would not have been possible without each of you.
