Blindside Rescue OH 501C3 offering support for visually impaired and neglected animals. Our mission is to provide aid for cases of animal cruelty.

Blind Side Rescue OH is a private rescue owned by a registered veterinary technician that offers rehab and fostering services for vision impaired animals. We are located in a private facility in Baltimore OH. At this time we are allowing visitors by appointment only.

As hay season approaches, keep Blindside Rescue OH in mind if you find yourself needing to clear out last year’s hay to make room for this year’s cutting.

Every donation makes a difference—and all contributions are tax deductible.

Last year alone, we fed over 105,000 lbs of hay to keep our rescue horses healthy, safe, and thriving. As you can imagine, that comes with a significant cost, and we simply couldn’t continue our rehabilitation and rescue efforts without the support of our community.

Update: Momma is still holding her baby hostage. Everyone is healthy, she just decided she needed a little extra time to nourish her baby.

Our trusted veterinarian opted to not complete her dental due to risk of transferring large amounts of bacteria to the placenta. She did however, receive her vaccines and dewormer to help pass all the essentials to the foal prior to birth.

100X Equine has always supported our rehabilitation center by giving us access to affordable supplements to keep all of our horses comfortable and kickstart their treatment plans. As you can imagine, a stressed gut is something we see in 100% of our horses. Every horse that’s comes into our care is started on Gutx immediately. This product has worked miracles.

Spring vaccines, annual coggins, dentals oh my !! Thank you Dr. Yardley for always taking care of our resident horses. Routine care isn’t cheap, but is a must. Every horse in our care receives routine fall and spring veterinary services, as well as routine farrier and deworming.

Looking for part time help at our rescue. Duties include:

Feeding
Watering
Cleaning stalls
Turn out
Light grooming
Basic cleaning

Our horses are easy to work with and LOVE attention. Horse experience preferred, but can train the right candidate.

Must be 16 years old for paid position and have reliable transportation. Hours and schedule VERY flexible.
