Hello, 4-H'ers and Parents!

Just a reminder that our next meeting is THIS SUNDAY, 5/31, at 5:00 p.m. at ALT PARK.

We'll meet at the shelter house, have our meeting, refreshments, and games, and then pick up trash around the park.

1. Please bring a bag for trash if you have one.

2. Also, last year someone had plastic gloves we used when picking up trash. Does anyone have any on hand? If not, I'll get some.

Thanks to the following for helping at our Sunday meeting:
1. Safety Update: Bella
2. Games: Steve Bader (his fun outside games members enjoy each year)
3. Demonstration/Talk: Charles Slaby
4. Refreshments: Sarah & Alex Young

If you have any questions, let me know!

Blessings!
Alice (& Julia & Steve)

Since everyone is busy and not able to help clean the swim team pool shed tomorrow, Laura said she'll find another way to get it done. Thanks to everyone who responded! Enjoy the warm weather this week!

Since no one is able to help on Saturday, would
MONDAY AT 4:30 p.m. work to help clean out the pool shed?
(See previous post for details).

** IF YOU COULD PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHETHER OR NOT YOUR YOUTH IS/ARE AVAILABLE, I would greatly appreciate it so we'll know how to plan. :-)

Thanks & blessings!
Alice

Hello, 4-H'ers and parents!

At our last meeting, members decided that for one of our service projects, they would like to help the Baltimore Sea Lions Swim Team clean out their shed and supplies. Laura Slaby said she could use up to 12 members to help.

If you are able to help, here are the details:

Saturday, May 16
9:30 a.m. (for approximately 60-90 minutes)
Meet at the Baltimore Pool

Rain date:
Monday, May 18
4:30 p.m.

We realize this is short notice, so if you aren't able, we certainly understand.

**COULD YOU PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHETHER OR NOT YOUR CHILD(REN) IS (ARE) ABLE TO COME?
This will help us plan. (If no one can come, we'll reschedule.)

Also, if someone has a high-pressure washer we could use to clean the shed, please let us know.

Thanks & blessings!!
Alice

Hello, 4-H'ers & Parents!

1. MEETING THIS SUNDAY, 5:00 P.M. AT SMECK PARK
Just a reminder that our next meeting will be THIS SUNDAY, 5:00 p.m. Since the weather is supposed to be very nice, we'll plan to meet at SMECK PARK. After parking in the lot, walk through the entrance and then turn left (south), past the playground to the small blacksmith shed. There aren't many benches there, so feel free to bring a folding chair if you'd like. At the meeting, we'll talk about 4-H Camp, 4-H Achievement Forms, club committees, and more!

2. FEES FOR DUES & BOOKS
If you haven't paid for books you ordered or your dues, we'll collect those at the meeting. Also, if you ordered books through the club, I will have them for you.

3. THANKS TO...
Bella who will give us a safety update.
Emma who will inform us about 4-H Achievement Forms.
Adora who will give a talk/demonstration and provide refreshments.
Alex who will lead us in a fun game.

4. ENROLL ONLINE BEFORE 4/15
If you have not yet enrolled your child(ren) and their projects, please do so right away. The deadline is 4/15. If you did, make sure you registered all your children and all their projects. :-)

If you have any questions, let us know!

See you Sunday!!
