Just a few more hours until the auction closes at 5pm tonight, and we’re getting closer and closer to our $7,000 goal.

This isn’t just about numbers on a screen. This is about 75 survivors stepping into their next chapter with confidence, dignity, strength, and community.

Women who’ve survived domestic violence, human trafficking, and sexual assault - learning self-defense so they feel safe. Processing trauma through art therapy. Building resumes and getting professional headshots so they can see their own power. Receiving resources that say “you matter, you’re worth it, your future is bright.”

That’s what we’re funding. That’s why this matters.

We’ve raised $2,100 and I’m overwhelmed by your support. But we’re not done yet.

Wings of Hope Brunch → Wings of Hope ONLINE AUCTION

I’ll be honest canceling the in-person brunch was hard.
But you know what’s harder? Not being able to serve survivors because we didn’t adapt.

So we’re pivoting. Wings of Hope Online Auction goes live Friday, April 17 at and runs through Thursday April 23.

Same goal: $7,000 to fund life-changing programs for survivors.

Same heart: Supporting women rebuilding after trauma.
Different format: You bid online, from anywhere, at any time.

What I’m learning as a small nonprofit founder:
• Flexibility isn’t failure, it’s wisdom
• Community shows up in different ways
• Impact matters more than format
• Asking for help is strength

When she walked into that room she was a survivor. When she walked out she was a woman with a plan, a vision, and the beginning of a belief that her life could be different.

And here’s what most people don’t see, when SHE heals, her children heal. Her family heals. Her community heals. The cycle that was handed to her doesn’t get handed to the next generation.

That’s not just impact. That’s a legacy.
RISE exists to plant those seeds in healing workshops, yoga sessions, career programs, and yes, vision board workshops just like this one. Because when a woman can finally see her future, she will fight like everything to reach it.
