Now that I finally have some time to reflect over the past week I want to thank everyone for their support! My faith tells me that God has been here through all of this. He saw me struggling and knew I needed some help. Yes a bad thing happened but so much good has come from it. People have reached out and given hope to all these kids! When I told the kids that I may have to shut down because I can't keep it going when stuff like this happens they were upset and begged me not to close the doors. I knew there was no way I could let that happen. We have a bunch of great kids out there and we have some that make bad choices. These kids need positive role models in their life, not only in schools but outside of school. This is who we're doing this for. That is why it is so important to donate, whether its money, candy, cleaning supplies or your time. We won't reach every child but we will reach some! And if we can change one child we've done a wonderful thing! I'm so grateful that we have this opportunity in our community and I hope we can keep it going! The kids love it, I've heard it from them, i've heard it from their teachers and their parents. I pray for those kids that made the bad choice, I pray for the kids that come everyday, I pray that we can be that positive influence that some of these kids need. They need a place where they feel loved and like they belong. I am so grateful to live in this great community that steps out and helps others! You can say what you want about living in a small town, but our small town is pretty special! Thank you everyone! God is good all the time! All the time God is good! Be grateful! And remember, someone out there has it worse than you do on your worse day! God bless our small town and everyone in it!! Always look for the positive! Be grateful to God always! Thank you again!!
