Today, despite being incredibly under rostered, we the Flame went up to Wycoff, NJ to play the #3 in NJ, Torpedoes SC Red U18/19 in the NJYS President’s Cup Semifinal and lost 2-0. It was one of the guttiest efforts I’ve ever helped coach. It was 0-0 at the half and the girls all played their hearts out. We the coaches are as proud of this team as we have ever been.

Great Job Flame with a huge 3-2 OT Win vs Union City in the NJYS Quarterfinals!!! Craziest game I’ve ever coached. We were up 2-0, lost the lead, then scored the game winner in the first 10 minute overtime. The girls all played amazing. Daija Lambert with two goals including the game winner!!! 🏅 Bex Kearns with an incredible game in net due to an injury deserves major credit for this as well!!! They all battled and played as a team in the pouring rain ☔️ Thank you parents for bringing them up there!!! Info for the next State Cup game coming soon!!! Go Flame!!!

The Flame ended the year 15-6-1, winning 3 tournaments and going 6-3 in EDP league play. Senior Goalkeeper Hannah Kern and the Defense had 7 Shutouts.
Bella Moore led the team with 15 goals, and Anna Nicosia 13 as well. In addition McKenna Balas had 6 goals, Cat Hatch had 4 goals, Both Kaitlyn Petrella and Hannah Fagan had 3 goals a piece. Nijah Hall and Brooke Walker each had 2 goals. Also, Jessica Jacobson and Maya Asante each had 1 goal a piece. Since the beginning of the 2021 season, after returning to full-time action following Covid, the Flame have a combined record of 57-23-5, while helping to put several players into college soccer programs and allowing others to end their playing days on a positive note. Congrats Ladies, and thank you to the parents, friends and other family that have supported them along the way.

Congratulations to the Flame for winning the overall High School Girls Championship at the 36th Annual Manalapan Memorial Day Soccer tournament for the third year in a row!!

The girls were able to shutout their opponents in game one today, winning 3-0 and took game two 6-2. Best of luck to all the girls that played their last tournament with the Flame.🔥. .
