The Federalist Society at Capital University Law School The Federalist Society at Capital University Law School is an organization of conservative and libertarians concerned with the state of the law.

The Society is founded upon the principles that government exists to preserve individual freedom, including economic liberties; that the separation of governmental powers is centered to the Constitution of the United States; and that it is emphatically the province of the judiciary to say what the law is, not what the law should be. The Society seeks both to promote an awareness of these principles and to further their application through its activities.

We are delighted to have been selected as the winner of the Federalist Society’s Alexander Hamilton Feddie award for most improved chapter. Because of the number and variety of events we held this year, the partnering with other student organizations, the doubling of our membership, and our members’ engagement in the society, we overcame chapters from across the county.

Thank you to everyone who helped with and attended our events this year. We hope the Capital Law chapter will continue to succeed in the future.
