The Central Ohio WVU Alumni Chapter is proud to announce that our request to rename our chapter scholarship has been approved. With deep love, honor and appreciation, the scholarship will now be known as the π‰πžπ«π«π² β€œππšπ©πš π†π«πžπ¬π¬π¨β€ π†π«πžπ¬πšπ€ π’πœπ‘π¨π₯𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐑𝐒𝐩, in honor of the incredible legacy of Papa Gresso and his son, Eric β€œGresso” Gresak.

For decades, Papa Gresso was the smiling face to greet you. Whether it be at the WVU-dedicated Gresso’s Bar & Grill in Columbus, on the back porch of his Morgantown home for a tailgate celebration, or at any of the numerous places you found him cheering on his beloved Mountaineers.

Papa Gresso embodied the spirit of Mountaineer Nation. With this dedication, we share his memory & spirit with future Mountaineers from the Central Ohio area while supporting them in the pursuit of their dreams.

Please join us tomorrow (March 25) for WVU Day of Giving and consider donating to the scholarship in honor of Papa Gresso and the lasting impact he leaves behind.
