We have set the date for our next gospel concert, Return to Gospel Roads with Daniel Windsor & Friends. It will be February 22, 2025 at a new location--St. Luke Ministry Center. The Ministry Center is located at 301 11th Street in Uptown Columbus. Tickets are still $35 each or $25 each for groups of 10 or more. Among the performers this year are: The Hess Family (Chris, Cindy Emma & Hannah,) Trenton Tolbert, Rev. Markus & Elaine Hammonds, Debbie Anderson, The Seekers and Lisa McCain. Dr. Windsor, his wife, Linda, & their grandchildren will participate. Others are still checking their calendars & will be added as they confirm their appearances.

Friends--a wonderful supporter of the local Salvation Army is holding a fashion show at the Lovick P. Corn Worship Center on Warm Springs Rd. to benefit the local unit of the Salvation Army. The show will be on December 10, 2022, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 & can be purchased at the Salvation Army Family Thrift Store, 615 Manchester Expressway (next to Golden Donuts.) The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary will have a sale at the fashion show with items for Christmas gifts & home decor. There will also be a silent auction with items that include art, jewelry & a vintage mink stole. Please plan to attend this holiday event!!

We are excited to support the September 1 launch of the Salvation Army's Amazing Good Capital Campaign and encourage the citizens of Columbus & the surrounding communities to support it.

The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary of Columbus, GA in cooperation with the local chapter of the Salvation Army & the Salvation Army Family Store is seeking churches, businesses, media outlets or other groups to help sponsor a clothing drive for the Family Store. The Family Store, 615 Manchester Expressway, sells clothing at a modest price to benefit the community & to raise funds for Salvation Army projects. In addition, low-income & homeless families served by the Salvation Army provide vouchers that can be exchanged for clothing & household goods. Back-to-School children will soon be needing clothing also. We will pick up any clothing items collected & place them in the Family Store. Please contact us for additional information or to sponsor a clothing drive.
