Come help us celebrate Carson's 109th birthday at tonight's screening of Wunderkind Carson McCullers: A Film by Claudia Müller! Following the screening will be a conversation between Georgia Public Broadcasting's Orlando Montoya and McCullers Center Director Nick Norwood.

Are you a high school student in the state of Georgia or Alabama, or a student at Columbus State University, that loves to write?

The Carson McCullers Literary Awards offer prizes in fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, expository essay, playwriting, and screenwriting.

Prizes: $300 first place, $200 second place, $100 third place in each category.
