For our February Community Service Project, the Albany State University National Alumni Association – Columbus GA Chapter proudly hosted “Purses with a Purpose.”
We collected purses and filled them with essential toiletry items to support women at our local battered women’s shelter. In addition to the purses, members also donated cleaning supplies, blankets, pillows, and sheet sets to help provide comfort and care during a time of transition.
Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and helped make this project a success. Your generosity continues to uplift and support our community.
