We have shown that in nearly three years of campus carry in Georgia that the "wild west" did not come to our campuses. GWL holders choosing to carry on campus have been just as safe as they are everywhere else in the state. It's time to remove the onerous restrictions we still have in place for concealed carry on campus. We strongly support SB 449 and encourage you to contact your legislators in support of this bill.

TOMORROW, Amanda Collins-Johnson will speak at Kennesaw State University to defend Georgia’s decision to allow university students 21+ with a concealed carry permit to protect themselves on campus.

As administration, legislators, and students tirelessly attempt to reverse, weaken, and abandon their peers’ right to carry, Collins-Johnson will use her personal story of surviving r**e to establish that students, particularly women, need the option to effectively defend themselves against campus r**e and sexual assault.

The lecture will be in the English Building, Room 250 from 5:00-6:30pm. If you are community, please contact Young Americans for Freedom at Kennesaw State University for permission to attend.
