Dear Wolverine families and friends,

We wanted to share a quick update with you regarding the current wildfires and air quality in our area. While we remain safe, the smoke has increased, so we’re taking proactive steps to protect our campers and staff.

Our nature campers are switching to fun indoor activities for the time being, and we’re enjoying rest time inside as well. We’re closely monitoring the situation with our leadership team and local authorities. We may move our nature campers into the cabins this evening as a precaution to ensure everyone continues to breathe easier.

Please join us in praying for the firefighters and all those affected by the wildfires, for safety, containment, and God’s protection over our region. We’re grateful for His faithfulness and for the opportunity to still make meaningful memories together, even when plans shift!
We’ll continue to keep you posted. Thank you for your prayers and trust as we care for these campers.

If you’ve ever stayed in our dorms when it’s warm outside and the rooms are full of campers, you might know that everything kind of feels….*moist*….we would really like to try and fix this problem with some dehumidifiers! In order to get one in each dorm wing and one in each dorm bathroom we will need 12, yes 12 dehumidifiers! If you have the ability, please follow the link and purchase a dehumidifier! I walked to the dorms late last night to give my daughter a squeeze before bed and could hear all the chatter and laughter from the big pavilion. It brought a smile to my face and a tear to my eyeball. We have a full house this week! It’s a riot and exhausting 🤪.
Say extra prayers for these kids today. Pray that Jesus touches their hearts and the Holy Spirit moves here this week in a way that will change their lives for eternity! We so badly want them to know that God created them for a divine purpose and He values them all so much. I wonder how it will feel to be in heaven and see some of these people, knowing our stories are connected through camp, and seeing the big picture of how God was working while we were there.

Who saw the sunrise this morning?

The first week of camp is coming to a close! It’s been a fun and crazy week. We love seeing these reminders that God sees us and starts a beautiful day for us every day!
