Our club has been blessed with the generous support of our community and members, both past & present, and it is with regret that we will disband the Columbiana Area local as of 5/30/24. Through our foundation that was established many years ago, we are very proud of the many scholarships we have been able to award to women of our area over the years. Through fundraising in addition to the foundation, we have also supported an abundance of wonderful programs benefitting women young and old. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

STATEMENT BY GOVERNOR

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)β€”Ohio Governor Mike DeWine today announced the appointment of Katelyn Dickey to the 7th District Court of Appeals.

Dickey, of Lisbon, will assume office on April 10, 2024, and will be taking the seat formerly held by Judge David D'Apolito, who resigned at the beginning of the year. She will serve the remainder of the unfinished term and will need to run for election in November of 2024 to retain the seat.

After graduating from law school, she began teaching business law at the Salem Campus of Kent State University.

In 2008, Dickey received a bachelor's degree from Gannon University. She received her juris doctor from the University of Akron in 2012.

She is a member of The Federalist Society; the Columbiana County, Mahoning County, and Ohio State Bar Associations; Columbiana County Farm Bureau; Columbiana County Township Association; Columbiana County Business Professional Women; Crestview Local PTO; and the Ohio Judicial Conference.
