Pascale's Pals, Inc. is a non-profit developed to benefit the children and families receiving care at MU Children's Hospital in Columbia, MO.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our longtime friend, Norm Ruebling.

Norm gave so much of his time, talent, and heart to Pascale's Pals because he truly believed in our mission of helping children at the hospital.

For 15 years, he served as the emcee of our Annual Dinner Gala, bringing warmth, humor, and professionalism to every event. He also hosted a golf tournament benefiting Pascale's Pals for seven years, helping us raise critical funds to support the children and families we serve.

Norm was a kind, generous, and joyful soul who touched the lives of so many. His unwavering support, friendship, and dedication to our mission will never be forgotten.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones. Rest in peace, Norm. Your legacy of kindness and generosity will live on in the countless lives you helped make brighter. You will be deeply missed.

This basket went to a little 3-year-old whose family requested a John Deere tricycle, clothes, and toys. We tried to fill his basket with every John Deere toy we could find!! His mom wrote to us saying, "I wish I would have been recording him opening all this! His mouth kept dropping open!" Thank you to Johnston Paint & Decorating for sponsoring this basket!

This basket was delivered to a 9 year old navigating a relapse diagnosis. We were able to get her an ipad, comfort items, and books/crafts to help keep her occupied and uplifted during long days indoors and at treatment. Thank you to John and Joan Petralia for sponsoring this basket!

This basket went to a sweet 4 year old requesting games and toys! His mom wrote to us saying, "After a long day in the hospital with testing and receiving not good news, they brought in your generous gift and he was overwhelmed with joy! He had so much excitement on his face while he went through all the boxes and boxes of toys and gifts - it really made a hard day better for him. It was the perfect distraction. The Switch games help tremendously to distract him every time they access his port - that's the one tool we can use to keep him focused on something else. He chooses it over the hospital iPad every time. He loves sharing with the nurses what he's playing also. It is wonderful what you all do, and we appreciate your generous gifts so much!" This sweet baby's basket included a lot of toys and essentials for her age! Her mom wrote to us saying, "I wanted to email and say thank you so much for the amazing gift basket! It was more than we asked for and could ever imagine! She was surely blessed and exceedingly happy! Thank you for adding some joy to this very difficult time in our life. It was very encouraging and we felt all the love!" Thank you to Ford Insulation LLC for sponsoring this basket!

For this 7 year old's basket, she requested a trip to Silver Dollar City! We are so happy we were able to make this happen for her! Her mom wrote to us saying, "Due to your generous donation, she had a great time at Still Waters resort on table rock lake and spent the day at Silver Dollar City. She was proudly rocking her Dexcom and Omnipod which is a big step for her and even saw another girl close to her age wearing a Dexcom. A wonderful experience - thank you again!" For this sweet 16-month-old on an oncology journey, we were able to purchase a playset of his family’s choice, complete with assembly. His mom shared that he and his siblings absolutely love it!

Congratulations to our 2026 Pascale’s Pals Scholarship recipients!

The Wayne Richards Scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors in Mid-Missouri who have received care at MU Health Care’s Children’s Hospital for a life-threatening and/or chronic condition. The scholarship is named in honor of beloved social worker Wayne Richards.

Each recipient was awarded a $1,000 scholarship to support their future education. We are so proud of these students and all they have accomplished. Congratulations again to our recipients:
