The Legacy Brick Campaign offers an opportunity to honor a veteran, remember a loved one, celebrate a family member, or leave a permanent mark on VAlanthropy- Hidden Wounds Village Alpha.

Each engraved brick will become part of the community flag plaza, the heart of the village. This gathering place will surround the flagpole where veterans will come together daily to raise and lower the American flag, reflect, connect, and build community.

Your contribution does more than place a name in the plaza. Every Legacy Brick helps furnish and prepare homes for veterans who are working toward healing, stability, and a brighter future.

Long after the homes are built, the Legacy Plaza will remain as a lasting reminder of the people who believed veterans deserved a safe place to call home.

Local news WIS TV. Kaila Page was onsite today, at Hidden Wounds Village Alpha as construction and infrastructure work continue moving forward.
What started as an idea years ago is now active development focused on permanent veteran housing, stability, and healing.
This project is being built to support veterans facing housing instability, trauma recovery challenges, and difficult transitions back into civilian life.

Progress is happening in Sumter, South Carolina.

The land is being cleared.
Water lines are going in.
Sewer and drainage infrastructure is underway.

These may look like construction updates, but they represent something much bigger.

Every trench being dug.
Every utility line installed.
Every step forward is part of building permanent supportive housing for veterans working to rebuild stability and move forward after service.

Hidden Wounds Village Alpha is designed to provide more than temporary shelter.

This project focuses on:

• Long term recovery and reintegration

Right now, veterans across South Carolina continue to face housing instability and difficult transitions back into civilian life.
