We sell donated items and the money goes to help Maury county residents pay rent and utilities. Common Threads is a not for profit thrift store that supports The Family Center and our community. By selling donations at a very affordable price, we can financially support current programs as well as create new ones that will better serve our neighbors in need. The Good Samaritan Program: This program helps Maury County residents pay rent, utilities, eyeglasses and medication. In 2020, The Family Center provided assistance to 2685 families with over $431,000.00 through our Good Samaritan Program. With the proceeds from Common Threads, we hope to help more people with more money!!! Supplemental Food Pantry:
Maury County families can visit our supplemental pantry once a month to receive food, hygiene products, cleaning supplies and baby essentials. In 2020, The Family Center served 7,495 families with over $807,000.00 worth of donated food. Proceeds from Common Threads will allow us to serve more families with more nutritional food.
