I’m excited to share that the transitional house I’ve been volunteering with will be hosting **Monthly Community Partner Luncheon & Open House on October 22nd!**

This will be a great opportunity to learn more about the mission, tour the house, meet the women we’re supporting, and connect with others who want to be part of creating more resources and opportunities for women as they work toward rebuilding their lives.

Whether you’re a community organization, local business, potential donor, volunteer, or simply someone who believes in second chances — **we’d love to have you join us!** 🫶🏾

💜 **RECOVERY TAKES COMMUNITY.**

Sometimes we think recovery is just about the person making the choice to change.

But behind so many successful recovery stories are people who showed up.

Someone who answered the phone.
Someone who offered a safe place to stay.
Someone who listened without judging.
Someone who said, *“You can do this.”*
Someone who believed in her when she couldn't believe in herself yet.

**That’s why community matters.**

At *When You Can’t Cope There’s Hope*, we believe no woman should have to walk her recovery journey alone.

This Recovery Month, we’re grateful for every person who chooses to show up, support, encourage, donate, volunteer, pray, and remind these women that **their lives are worth fighting for.** 💜

💜 **DID YOU KNOW?**

Addiction is a **treatable health condition** — not a lack of willpower or a character flaw.

Recovery is possible, but it often takes more than simply deciding to stop.

Treatment, stable housing, supportive relationships, accountability, mental health care, and a strong community can all play an important role in helping someone build a healthier life.

That’s why **support matters.**

Behind every woman in recovery is a story we may never know.

Instead of asking, *“Why can't she just stop?”*

Try asking:

**“What support does she need to move forward?”** 💜

This Recovery Month, let's replace judgment with understanding and make room for hope.

Recovery doesn't mean having everything figured out.

Sometimes it means getting through today.

Today, she chose not to give up.
Today, she chose to ask for help.
Today, she chose herself.

And tomorrow?

She gets another chance.

That’s the beauty of recovery. **Every day is another opportunity to begin again.** 🦋
