We partner with Emergency Shelters and Transitional Housing providers in Richland County to provide on-site job training services to the homeless, unemployed population. Research shows that unemployment affects a person’s well-being. Unemployed persons have poorer psychological health than those working. The unemployed are more likely to suffer from anxiety

, depression, and suicidal ideation compared to employed individuals. Furthermore, the stress of unemployment results in negative parenting practices, affecting the family unit as a whole. Our Mission is to help these individual transitions and thrive in society by assisting them in obtaining employment through the enhancement of their professional development skill set; which promotes their overall well-being.
