September may be coming to a close, but the fight continues. 💛❤️

This past weekend, CAMP KEMO Programs had the privilege of bringing families together for our Oncology Family Camp and Sickle Cell Family Day—creating space for connection, laughter, memories, and, most importantly, the chance for kids to simply be kids.

Family time matters. Finding community with others who understand the journey matters. And creating moments of joy in the midst of hardships matters.

As we close out Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and Sickle Cell Awareness Month, we’re reminded that awareness doesn’t end on September 30. The fight continues beyond September, and so does our commitment to these families.

Through CAMP KEMO Programs, we’ll continue creating opportunities for families to connect, heal, make memories, and feel supported—every step of the way. 💙💛🤍

These dedicated providers care for children and teens with blood and bleeding disorders and cancer, supporting patients and families through every step of their journey.
Their expertise goes far beyond diagnosis and treatment. They celebrate the good days, bring comfort on the hard days, answer endless questions, cheer on milestones, and get to know each child beyond their diagnosis.

Working alongside our nurses, pharmacists, specialists, psychosocial team, and families, they provide thoughtful, comprehensive care centered around the whole child and whole family.

From diagnosis through treatment and beyond, our psychosocial team is here to support the whole family. We recognize that childhood illness impacts more than just the patient, and our goal is to provide compassionate, individualized support for children, parents, siblings, and caregivers throughout their journey.

Landon, Therapist�Jeff, Psychologist

Together, we provide emotional, developmental, social, and practical support—helping families navigate the challenges that come with a child’s diagnosis while creating space for connection, coping, and hope.

RING THE BELL FOR SICKLE CELL! ❤️🔔

What a beautiful day of community, celebration, awareness, and hope! We are so grateful to EdVenture Children's Museum for hosting us for the Celebration Circle and helping us create space to honor and celebrate the strength of those living with sickle cell disease.

Every ring is a reminder that sickle cell deserves awareness, support, research, and a cure.

Happy Birthday to sweet Princess Leah! 👑

Today, we celebrate Leah—her beautiful spirit, her fierce sass, her smile, and the lasting light she continues to bring to so many. 💗

This year, Campfire Kids is celebrating their 5th Annual Light Up for Leah 5K, a race that began with Leah’s story and has grown into something so much bigger: a night to remember, honor, and celebrate the lives of the brave children our center has lost to cancer and blood disorders. 🤍

Light Up for Leah is more than just a race. It is remembrance. It is love. It is hope. It is carrying their stories, saying their names, and keeping their light shining. We will run and walk for Leah and for every child who left this world far too soon—with the hope that one day, no parent will have to know this kind of pain. And through it all, this race helps make a difference for the children and families who are still walking this journey. Proceeds from the Light Up for Leah 5K benefit CAMP KEMO Programs, supporting children and families affected by cancer and blood disorders. 💛

We are so grateful to Campfire Kids and everyone who has helped make the last five years of this race a beautiful tribute to Leah and to so many other precious children. ✨
