There's still time to grab your denim, grab a ticket and join The Hive Community Circle for their Denim Day fashion show, tomorrow April 29th. Check out their link, and make sure to share your denim wearing pics!

This Wednesday, we’re bringing style, purpose, and community together for a night you don’t want to miss πŸ‘–βœ¨πŸ

Join us for Denim On Denim, a powerful fashion show raising awareness around sexual assault while celebrating creativity, expression, and community. This event is inspired by Denim Day, a global movement that began as a protest against victim blaming and stands as a symbol of support for survivors of sexual violence. Wearing denim is a way to stand in solidarity and spark important conversations πŸ’›

This is more than a runway, it’s a moment to show up, uplift survivors, and turn awareness into action. Come dressed in your best denim, bring your energy, and be part of a night filled with fashion, connection, and impact.

Tickets are still available, so grab yours and join us this Wednesday. Let’s stand together and make a statement πŸŽ‰

This Wednesday, April 29th is DENIM DAY, a global campaign held during Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month where people wear denim to protest victim-blaming and support survivors.
We at Zonta stand with victims and survivors, and we encourage you to "wear jeans (or any denim) with a purpose" to challenge misconceptions surrounding sexual violence.

Want to know more about Denim Day and how it was started? You might be shocked (but not surprised)

Wear jeans with a purpose, support survivors, and educate yourself about sexual assault.

Happy Earth Day!
We may not always think of it this way, but as we reflect on our connection to the environment on this particular day, we can recognize how climate change is accelerating humanitarian crises worldwide and how women and girls are bearing the heaviest burden.
In fact, the United Nations tells us that that women and children displaced by climate impacts now make up an estimated 80% of all those displaced!
Check out the included graphic and consider how we can best work together to make positive changes for all those affected.

Last night we held another "Enhancing Your Assets" program at Killingsworth Home. This weeks speaker was Denise Dunovant from Midlands Technical College. She walked the women through the admissions process and answered questions on a variety of concerns.
We love Midlands Tech for its variety of programming that appeals to a wide range of potential students of all ages!
