Sustaining Our Seniors Sustaining Our Seniors of SC is a nonprofit that grew out of 2013 Leadership South Carolina class project.

As South Carolina’s senior adult population grows exponentially, Sustaining Our Seniors, a non-profit and non-partisan organization, will be the primary champion for seniors and vulnerable adults, their caregivers and families by identifying resources, information, guidance and service options to improve their quality of life.

Our goals are to: understand, identify and recognize the challenges of South Carolina’s seniors in order to promote a better quality of life for them; promote public-private partnerships to connect people with needs to available volunteers and resources; encourage and develop innovative ideas and best practices for seniors’ needs and their caregivers to enhance their ability to live independently; and be a unified sounding board and clearing house for senior care initiatives for South Carolina.
