What would it look like for God to use your story to bless someone you may never meet?

For Jane Poster, it began with the example of her parents and how they invested in others. When Jane’s parents left their home to her, she chose to use that gift to bless others. Today, a scholarship exists in her parents’ honor, continuing their story of generosity until Jesus returns.

We’d love for you to hear a little of Jane’s story. ❤️

Maybe it will make you think about your own story, too.

Cannon Church is seeing their vision come to life! 🏗️

A word from their lead pastor, Dr. Carl Poole:
"I wanted to share a quick update on the progress of our new building. Once construction officially got underway, things have moved incredibly fast. I recently spoke withour Project Manager and he shared that—barring any unforeseen delays—we are right on track to complete construction and move in this October!

We are officially naming the new space The Connections Center. It’s going to house our welcome desk, coffee station, and social hall. A huge thank you to the Baptist Foundation and Seed Financial for helping us bring this vision to life."

It was a pleasure meeting with the leadership team at White Plains Baptist Church in Pelzer last month!

We’re thankful for opportunities to come alongside churches as they prayerfully discuss future ministry goals, stewardship, and ways to continue serving their communities through the hope of the Gospel!

What started as a meeting around the table quickly turned into an exciting new partnership!

We recently met with Pastor Larry Ledford and the deacons of Unity Baptist Church in Simpsonville to discuss a prospective capital campaign… and got the call the very next day that they were ready to move forward with us! We’re grateful for the opportunity to come alongside churches as they plan for future ministry and growth.

Before our recent board meeting, our staff and board had the opportunity to tour the beautiful Hampton-Preston Mansion and Gardens and learn more about its fascinating and complex history.

From the architecture and preserved rooms to historical documents and family records, the tour offered a unique glimpse into a family's legacy and the realities of life in another era. One especially striking artifact was Mary Hampton’s “Schedule of Property,” detailing how her belongings would be distributed among family members: from bowls and spoons to the heartbreaking division of enslaved families among different households.

As the Foundation assists many with their Estate Planning, it was a sobering and thought-provoking reminder of how our values shape the legacy we leave behind.
