Laure Noudou, our dedicated Secretary, has officially earned her PhD from Boston University!
Shamita Kamlem () , a valued member of our Board, has proudly obtained her Associate Degree from Howard Community College!

SDWE had the privilege to take part in the Civil Society Policy Forum during the World Bank and IMF Spring Meetings in Washington D.C.

It was a week of powerful conversations on global challenges—from disaster preparedness and digital job creation to food security in Africa and data-driven policymaking.

The sessions sparked deep reflection and strengthened my commitment to collaborative, sustainable solutions for a better future.

🌍 SDWE Takes the Global Stage! 🌟

Our CEO proudly represented SDWE at the 2024 World Bank and IMF Annual Meetings in Washington, DC! 🙌✨

The event brought together global leaders and changemakers to tackle pressing issues that impact us all. Key topics included:
✅ Beyond Austerity: Rethinking economic policies for a sustainable future.
✅ Feminist Perspectives: Advocating for equality in Bretton Woods Institutions.
✅ Investing in Climate-resilient Infrastructure: Proactive solutions for a better tomorrow.
✅ Governance of DPFs: Promoting transparency, accountability, and stakeholder engagement.

We’re inspired to bring these transformative ideas back home and continue making strides in sustainable development and women’s empowerment. 🌱👩‍💼
