SDWE had the privilege to take part in the Civil Society Policy Forum during the World Bank and IMF Spring Meetings in Washington D.C.

It was a week of powerful conversations on global challenges—from disaster preparedness and digital job creation to food security in Africa and data-driven policymaking.

The sessions sparked deep reflection and strengthened my commitment to collaborative, sustainable solutions for a better future.

Happy International Women's Day to our Mothers , sisters, darling daughters, aunties, Always remember your worth, NO MATTER WHAT! You are:

W - Wondeful

Remember, never let someone's opinion of you become your reality. You are who God says you are. Mistakes are okay. Get up, dust yourself, and move forward. Live, laugh, and enjoy your God-given purpose on this earth.

✅ Beyond Austerity: Rethinking economic policies for a sustainable future.
✅ Feminist Perspectives: Advocating for equality in Bretton Woods Institutions.
✅ Investing in Climate-resilient Infrastructure: Proactive solutions for a better tomorrow.

🌍🎉 On September 22nd, our CEO proudly represented SDWE at the Parks and Recreation event hosted by the Pigi Council! The celebration was dedicated to honoring African cultures and highlighting the strong bond between Black and immigrant communities in the USA.

During the event, she had the pleasure of meeting Karen Morgan from the Executive Council of AARP, Maryland, and Zulma Chavez, the Community Engagement Coordinator of Maryland Physicians. They discussed exciting potential collaborations among their organizations!

🌟 Empowering Women and Youth in Cameroon! 🌟

At SDWE, we are committed to fostering an egalitarian world where women and youth have equal access to opportunities. Here’s how we make a difference:

Economic Empowerment: We provide training in entrepreneurship and financial literacy, facilitate access to microfinance, and support women-led cooperatives.

Education & Vocational Training: Offering scholarships, mentorship programs, and promoting digital literacy to enhance educational opportunities.

Health Services: Ensuring access to comprehensive health services, including reproductive health education and support.

Environmental Leadership: Promoting women’s leadership in environmental protection and climate change adaptation.

Our Impact: The Cameroon Women and Youth Entrepreneurship Center is an innovative venture that supports a new generation of women and youth entrepreneurs through startup development programs and a daycare component, ensuring women can stay in the workforce.

Join us in creating a brighter future for all! 🌍💪
