I am now 5 year old. On October 27th, 2009 after being admitted to Penn State Childrens Hospital the previous day, I was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma Stage 4. This is a form of Childhood cancer found mainly in the Bone Marrow. I went through 6 months of chemotherapy, Major surgery to remove the tumor that was found on my left kidney. In May of 2010 I had my Bone Marrow transplant. I was doing wond
erful till one day mommy and daddy noticed i was walking funny. On February 14th, 2011 my family found out that I had relapsed. This time the doctors found 6 major tumors on my brain. The doctors told my mommy and daddy that i only had 3-6 months to live. I was placed in ICU to get the pressure off my brain and to start treatment right away. am now under a new experimental treatment that is being conducted at Penn State Childrens Hospital Stem Cell Clinic. I am doing well and thanks to GOD, I only have 2 Tumors that at this time show up on my MRI scans.. I'm winning this battle one day at a time.
****Update, On January 17th, 2012 after complaining of back pain, I had an MRI scan of my back that showed I now have cancer tumors on My spine. I was admitted to the hospital and started on steriods. I am off the FDA treatment and now am recieving 10 round of chemotherapy and then will start Chemotherapy around February 6th, 2012.. We are again taking this one day at a time..
