What an absolute phenomenal day for Missouri Craft Distillers at the Capitol. We want to thank everyone who met with us today and spent time hearing our stories about our small businesses. We are so grateful we got to share our passion with you and listening to why we should be promoting the craft movement.

Three cheers for these intrepid explorers!! They have successfully completed the Missouri Spirits Expedition!!

Those brave souls who collect stamps by visiting all the participating MO distilleries on the earn rewards along the way. These four wonderful people here received their ultimate reward: a complimentary bottle of the first ever single barrel of Blended Missouri Bourbon (made by blending MO Bourbon from distilleries all over the state)! Congrats!!

And YOU can follow in their footsteps by picking up an Expedition Log at any participating Outfitter (craft distillery in Missouri!). Don’t wait, adventure and great memories await!!

As we close out Women's History Month we want to take a minute to tip our glass to the Spirited Women in Missouri. Under 2% of distilleries are owned and operated by women and less than 20% of the Alcohol Wholesale Industry is female. We took this photo at our recent Annual meeting and wanted to take a second to say Cheers to these and all the women making positive change in our industry.

You read about Switchgrass Spirits current favorite cocktail. Now learn how to make it at home!
New Sour
INGREDIENTS
• 2oz Switchgrass Bourbon
• 1oz Fresh Lemon Juice
• 1/2oz Simple Syrup
• 1/2oz Red Wine
DIRECTIONS
-Shake Bourbon, lemon, and simple syrup with ice.
-Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
-Float wine on top by placing the backside of a spoon over the top of the cocktail and slowly pouring the wine over the surface of the spoon so that it cascades into drink.
