✨ Celebrating the Year of the International Farmer by highlighting the women shaping Tennessee agriculture.
Meet Lou Nave, a sixth-generation farmer whose roots run deep in Tennessee agriculture.
Lou owns and operates Heritage Hollow Farms alongside her daughters, Hannah and Emily, as well as her son-in-law and grandson. Their 320-acre operation includes commercial beef cattle, registered and commercial sheep, and Tennessee Walking Horses. The farm sits on land that has been in her mother’s family for more than 150 years, a legacy she is proud to continue.
A lifelong advocate for agriculture, Lou currently serves on the Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee and has previously represented farmers on the American Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee. She is passionate about sharing agriculture’s story and encouraging the next generation of agricultural leaders.
When she’s not working on the farm, you’ll often find her showing sheep with her daughters at local, state, and national events.
Join us as we celebrate the women helping grow the future of Tennessee agriculture. 🌱
