Happy Juneteenth!
Today we celebrate freedom, honor the generations who endured unimaginable hardship, and recognize the courage that helped shape our nation.

Juneteenth is a reminder of how far we’ve come and how much we can achieve when we stand together with empathy, respect, and unity.

May this day inspire reflection, gratitude, and hope for a brighter future for all.

Brothers, family, and friends — our final Masonic Service Day of the year arrives in Sikeston.
On August 1, we gather to serve our neighbors, strengthen our community, and show what “We Are Stronger Together” truly means.
Whether you bring your Lodge, your family, or just yourself, your presence helps build something lasting.

From Kansas City to St. Joseph, Brothers, Sisters, families, and friends came together with one purpose: to serve. Together, you made a lasting impact that will be felt far beyond today.

St. Joseph Parkway Cleanup — Volunteers restored miles of parkway and green space.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace — Teams delivered and built beds for children who needed a safe, warm place to sleep.
ReStart KC — Brothers refreshed and revitalized spaces that support individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
Harvesters — Two full shifts of volunteers sorted and packed food that will reach thousands across the region.
Veteran Hospital— Care packages, warm conversations, and heartfelt gratitude were shared with the men and women who served our nation.

Something powerful happened this weekend, and it reached far beyond Kansas City.
Masons, families, volunteers, and supporters from across the region came together for the KC Masonic BBQ, and the result was incredible: over $75,000 raised to send over half a plan of veterans to Washington, D.C. on their Honor Flight, completely free to them.

This wasn’t one Lodge or one city. It was neighbors, small businesses, corporate partners, and Masons from every corner of the state stepping up with a shared purpose: to honor the men and women who once carried the weight for all of us.

When communities, sponsors, and businesses come together, we don’t just support a cause—we change lives. This weekend, we proved what’s possible when we rise as one.

Farmington Lodge No. 132 A.F.&A.M. recently had the privilege of visiting Maxine Cole, their lodge’s oldest living widow, to present her with a 175th Charter Anniversary Commemorative Coin.

Worshipful Master Weedman, along with several Brethren, made the presentation. A small but heartfelt reminder that our widows remain an enduring part of our Masonic family.

The moment carried even deeper meaning knowing that the Eugene M. Cole Masonic Building bears the name of her late husband, whose dedication and service helped shape the history of Farmington Lodge.

Caring for our widows is more than a duty, it is a reflection of who we are as Masons. It is gratitude in action, love made visible, and a promise kept across generations.

In the quiet echoes of “Taps,” we remember those who stood for something greater than themselves.
As Freemasons, we honor the values of duty, sacrifice, brotherhood, and service. Principles shared both on the battlefield and within the Craft. Today, we pause to remember the fallen, support those who still serve, and never forget the price of freedom.
May we continue to meet upon the level, act upon the square, and stand united in gratitude for the brave men and women who gave all.
