Adventures abound when heroes are around - and we had plenty of heroes at Summer Adventure Camp during Heroes Week!🦸

Capes were optional. Our club members made and flew kites instead. 🪁 Or made and wore their own hero badges in celebration.🌟 The City of Greenwood Fire-Rescue stopped by to show what real heroes look like up close.🚒 And Discovery Place Charlotte visited campers to help us discover outer space.🚀

🌞Summer Adventure Camp is where the fun never stops! This summer, our members are doing it all: waterslides🌊, STEAM and board game challenges♟️, LEGO builds, bead-making crafts, story time and reading fun📖, playground adventures🛝 and so many new friends. Every day is a great day at the Club.💙

Week one of Summer Adventure Camp is in the books and we are primed for another GREAT summer! 🌞

Our members spent the week reading, building, competing, and creating. From summer reading challenges and K'Nex builds to ping pong, foosball, basketball and dodgeball on the court, there was something for everyone and plenty of fun for all. To cap it off, our teens wrapped up the week as guests of the Greenwood Rotary Club at a local baseball game. ⚾💙
